Simply phone 07944 591717 and the Duty Officer will take details of your request and find a volunteer driver to help you. 

We take bookings up to one week in advance. Whenever possible, we would appreciate 48 hours’ notice.

The Duty Officer will then ring you back to confirm the name of the driver. 

The driver will pick you up at the appointed time, take you to your appointment and take you home again.

Wheels 4U is a non-profit making service that exists solely to help the community. Although our volunteer drivers give their time freely, they can claim their fuel expenses. 

We therefore suggest a donation depending on the mileage travelled by the client and any parking fees.

Yes you can. All our volunteer drivers have been vetted and checked by the Wheels 4U committee and the Disclosure and Barring Service. They have received some basic training to give you the best possible service.

We will do our best to arrange a driver but we rely on the goodwill of our volunteers and cannot promise to meet your requirements 100% of the time. There may be times when this is not possible.

Of course. You are very welcome to come along to a couple of sessions before you join our community. Please email eleanor@girlsalive.org.uk with details of the group that you’d like to try.
