Brockham Parish Council is working with Surrey Police to raise awareness of the dangers of the misuse of Nitrous Oxide. It is a criminal offence to supply N2O for recreational use. Police Officers are conducting regular patrols of areas known to be of concern within the village.
RECRUITING - PLEASE HELP.
The Beaver Scouts 3 leaders run the groups for 6-8yrs old on a weekly basis every Monday between 5:30 -6:30 in the Church Hall. They are looking to recruit a couple of young helpers and an Assistant Leader.
Young Helpers
Is anyone aged between 14-18yrs old looking to work with children? Yoou don’t need any Scouting experience or even like camping to join! Just be motivated to work with children and contribute to running the weekly sessions. Volunteering will also count towards awards like the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
Assistant Leader
This is anyone who is 18yrs or over and would like to support the running of the Beaver section. No experience needed, just be enthusiastic and motivated to work with a great group of children and adults.
This person will need to hold a DBS certificate and full training will be given. They ask for a minimum commitment of 2 Monday’s a month each term
